  Could use a renovation. Menu is.....what you'd expect from smitty's. Not really impressed by service but I've never had it as bad as some of the other reviewers. If they brought back the giant fish tank I'd eat here every day 3x's a day

  Good service, good food. A little slow with coffee/drink refill and sometimes eggs aren't cooked the way ordered, however still a good place to visit.

  Cold and depressing interior decor meets inattentive non-communicative wait staff. Food was about what you'd expect at Smitty's, but waiting for 20 minutes after asking for a bill when we were the only four in there is kinda crazy. If you're having trouble with a machine or something at least come say something, don't make your customers wait for 20 minutes then tell them that they can't use a card to pay and that they have to use your convenient third party ATM that charges up the ass. Probably one of the worst customer service interactions I've had. If the food was even remotely good it would be worth enduring the service, but we're talking about Sysco pre-made Smitty's food here. Get your pre-made Sysco food from somewhere else.

  Stopped for breakfast at Smittys (High River) because in Calgary Smitty's everything is always good, so thought it was a safe bet. We were wrong - server barely spoke English, could not understand her. She couldn't understand us - kept repeating everything with heavy accent - not sure what she was saying.Ended up with one of the worst (mushy, no flavor) omelettes I have ever been served. When I said no hashbrowns, that also meant no toast - apparently, (which was only white orbrown bread anyway - no multi or marble rye). Would never go again. Maybe it was just a bad day?!

  Pictures pretty much tell all about the place. Here with 7 others and only 1 person enjoyed their meal. Wouldn't recommend this Smitty's, there's a McDicks walking distance from here...
